Lynley Billingsley, MSE, LPC

Lynley has been a therapist with OBHAW since June 2020 and is certified in dialectical behavior therapy as well as having training in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy and child-parent psychotherapy.  Lynley was a middle school science teacher prior to getting her master's degree from Henderson State University.  She is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with children and adolescents and is currently a therapist in the Hot Springs school-based program.  Lynley uses a child centered approach to therapy and interventions from dialectical and cognitive behavioral therapies to help her clients process and work through traumatic events as well as techniques and interventions from reality therapy to help them understand how their choices and behaviors shape their world and connections with others.  She's a native Arkansan, and when not in the office, Lynley likes to travel, read, spend time with family and friends, play board games and RPGs, explore new places, and wander out in the woods with her dogs.
