Natalie Collins – EOQ

We are pleased to announce Natalie Collins as our Employee of the Quarter, who was recognized for our OBHAW values of Openness, Balance, and Honesty & Integrity.

Natalie shows openness in everything she does at the front desk. She greets everyone with genuine warmth, listens closely, and makes people feel comfortable the moment they walk in. She’s honest and easy to talk to, and she’s always willing to hear new ideas or try a different way of doing things. Natalie is flexible when changes occur in policies and procedures and keeps a positive attitude. Natalie never hesitates to ask questions, share helpful information, or admit when she needs support, which makes others feel safe doing the same. Her openness helps create a welcoming, trusting atmosphere that really supports both clients and the whole team. She recently remained calm when a care coordinator was harsh towards her. She also was professional to help support a client in crisis by bringing them from the lobby to sit with them in the front group room until a clinician could come and provide support and intervention. She was call and reassuring to them which helped them to calm while waiting for a therapist to come speak with them.

Natalie shows a healthy balance in everything she does at the front desk. She stays calm, and friendly towards everyone. She maintains good boundaries and is aware of what she can realistically take on. She listens closely and helps when she can, but she also recognizes when something needs to be passed along to the clinical team. Even on busy days, she manages her tasks with steadiness and doesn’t let stress spill over onto others. Natalie consistently stays grounded and makes thoughtful decisions.

Natalie demonstrates honesty and integrity in everything she does at the front desk. She communicates clearly, follows through on what she says she’ll do and handles sensitive information with the respect it deserves. If she makes a mistake, she owns it and works quickly to make it right, which builds trust with both clients and coworkers. People know they can rely on her to do the right thing, even when it’s not the easiest or quickest option. Her steady, ethical approach helps create a dependable and safe environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

She has always been humble and willing to apologize for a mistake she made. She is open about limits to what she can do as office support and is upfront with clients and makes sure they understand our intake paperwork and what the consents they give mean. Natalie quickly responds when she recognizes an error and works to find a solution that is beneficial to the client and the company with respect to HIPAA. I cannot recall all the times she has made the correct choice because "It was the right thing to do," and she considered how she would feel if she were "in the other person's shoes." There are so many examples of her doing the right thing and making things right with clients, so they continue to choose OBHAW for their care.
