The July 2026 Table Talk Lunch with Susan Smith, CEO, was held July 1 and brought together Esmeralda Sanpedro, Allison Jordan, and Beth Massey for an opportunity to connect with colleagues, enjoy lunch, and engage in meaningful conversation in a relaxed setting.
Table Talk is designed to strengthen communication across the organization by creating an informal, welcoming environment where employees can share ideas, ask questions, and provide feedback directly to leadership. These conversations encourage collaboration across departments, build trust, and reinforce the importance of every employee's voice.
The discussions focus on identifying practical ideas that can enhance workplace culture, improve patient care, and increase operational effectiveness. When feasible, employee suggestions are evaluated and implemented to drive continuous improvement.
Participation rotates among employees from all roles and departments, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to contribute. Through these conversations, Table Talk supports OBHAW's mission of bringing hope and health to our communities, one life at a time, while reflecting our core values of Openness, Balance, Honesty & Integrity, Accountability, and Working Together.
